I trained in the locations department under a number of highly regarded Location Managers. I have mostly worked in the London region, travelling the country as the shoot required.I have a background in event management which taught me the basics of logistics and operations, as well as infrastructure. I have also worked a number of client and public facing roles, training me in good communication and personable relationship management. Combining all this experience has stood me in very good stead for location management as it is a blend of creative vision, solid logistical knowledge and planning with good people skills. My main role is currently Unit Managing. I do this using my own 4x4 and also provide 4x4 support services to shoots on an ad hoc basis. I am passionate about the job and try to contribute positivity to the industry to make it a mentally healthy working place for myself and my team. My family are rooted in Cornwall and I am shifting my focus to building my life and career in the South West Region.
I am passionate about finding sustainable, mentally and physically healthy ways of working that benefit my production and the wider community.I enjoy spending time with my family and my big passions are the sea and mountain sports.
