I am studying Film, TV, and Digital Communications at Bath Spa University as I knew I always wanted to work in the film industry but wanted to strengthen my knowledge and work with new people. During my time so far, I have produced a short film documentary, short film drama and a tv comedy drama, and producing is definitely where I feel most strongly suited. Whilst at university, I have also been learning an online dog grooming course, a Film and TV Online Safety Training course, HETV week's work experience and an NFTS Production 3-day training course. I am able to juggle multiple jobs and learning at the same time to strengthen my knowledge and experience in order to reach my goal and get into this industry. My dream is to have my name on the credits of a film or tv show and I will work my way from the ground up in order to get there. I love production and being the person that people can always rely on in part of a team which I got to do whilst being producer at university. In July I did a week’s work experience at The Bottleyard Studios in Bristol on The Forsytes Saga S2 in the production department as a production assistant/ runner. This experience gave me insight and knowledge into the tv world and has solidified this is where I belong. Seeing how important it is to be organised, kind and thinking ahead of the game to really standout such as getting peoples coffee or lunch orders every day or getting scripts and documents to people as soon as possible makes a project successful. These skills sum me up as a person, I am like a sponge and want to absorb as much knowledge as I can, I’m reliable, kind and bubbly as well as always thinking 2 steps ahead. I've had a love for film since watching Sleeping Beauty on VHS as a child to going to the cinema at any new release; movies and tv programmes make people feel all kinds of emotions, safe, happy, emotional and more and this is what I want to create for other people.
