I am currently a Film and Television Student at the University of Exeter with a consistent grade average of firsts. I have my drivers licence and am willing to travel for job opportunities.My primary experience lies in directing, editing, and camera operating with hands-on involvement in a range of short films and student productions. These roles have allowed me to develop a strong visual storytelling sense, technical proficiency with industry-standard equipment and software, and the ability to lead a creative team effectively. I am looking to expand my skillset and gain more experience in the film and TV industry. I am a fast learner and love to bring a positive attitude to set and I love working collaboratively with cast and crew. Furthermore, I'm also learning BSL as I think it's an important skill for everyone to learn. I'm currently a beginner but plan on reaching an intermediate level.
My favourite genre is definitely Sci-Fi as I have a soft spot for Star Wars and shows like Doctor Who, but overall I find myself watching almost anything if it has a good story. My favourite show of the year has definitely been 'Andor' as I think it's one of the best pieces of media Star Wars, or anyone, has produced in years. I've always been a very creative person and in my free time I enjoy drawing and painting, both as a form of expression and relaxation. I find visual art helps me explore ideas and aesthetics that often influence my filmmaking style. I'm also an avid reader and writer, with a particular interest in fantasy, dystopias, and poetry. Music is another huge part of my life - I enjoy pretty much any genre from classical to rock&roll (even country) depending on my mood or what I'm working on. Overall, I’m fascinated by all forms of storytelling and artistic expression, and I’m always looking for new ways to connect these interests with my work in film.
