Savannah Buzzard – Camera TraineeI’m a Bristol-based filmmaker currently studying Film Production at university, with a strong interest in camera setup and rigging. I’ve directed and worked as Director of Photography on several short films during my studies, as well as taking on DoP roles for independent projects outside of university.Alongside my filmmaking experience, I’ve developed practical on-set skills through freelance photography, editorial shoots, and creative direction. I’ve worked on set with director Paul Holbrook (When She Sings) and recently took part in the All Set West programme, which supports emerging talent in film and TV.I’m now stepping into the role of Camera Trainee on an upcoming HETV production for ITV, where I’m eager to continue learning, support the camera department, and strengthen my technical skills in camera setup, rigging, and on-set operation.
I’m particularly interested in camera setup and rigging, learning how to efficiently build and maintain camera systems, and supporting the camera department to ensure smooth on-set operation.
