15 Years experience starting as Art Department Assistant, stepping into various roles over the years including buying, dressing and prop making. Worked on soaps, children's, drama and film. Been doing standby roles now for almost 10 years. Skills include multi tasking, good clear communication, thinking quick on my feet, problem solving, working as part of a team, good set etiquette, confident driving different vehicles including vans, bring my own extensive kit, practical skills in terms of basic making and fixing props and things on set, fit and capable of lifting and carrying large items such as furniture, set pieces and kit and finally excel in making cups of tea.
Background in various creative activities such as drawing, painting, and other arts and crafts, amateur photography, videography, editing etc Studied film and tv from an academic point of view through high school, college and university. Outside of film and tv I work casually for a company making hyper real prosthetics out of silicone. Have an interest in practical SFX and have shadowed the SFX team on set to learn more and hope to do more of that in the future when time and money allows!
