I completed my degree in Television and Radio Production last year whilst working two part-time jobs. One as a general labourer for a construction company and the other as a stage crew member for multiple local theatres. Meaning I am comfortable with working hard for long, unsociable hours. Working in theatre has allowed me to develop skills such as time management, working as part of a large team, and troubleshooting under pressure whilst remaining empathetic. Similarly, being a woman working in a male-dominated industry like construction has improved my confidence, tenacity, and stamina.
