Pia is a SE England-based Intimacy Coordinator for stage and screen. Her prior on-set production experience (AD & UPM), and expertise in actor training and coaching, inform her confident but sensitive approach to supporting intimate storytelling.As an Intimacy Coordinator, Pia’s job is to ensure a safe, respectful and professional environment and process for actors and the entire production team from initial pre-production to final release. Beyond her work on set, Pia offers workshops, talks and presentations in the UK and internationally.
As an Intimacy Coordinator (IC), I aim to bring a clear structure and process for intimate scenes. Through clear and efficient liaising between production and the performers, and upholding of consent and boundaries, I help build a creative and collaborative space, fostering trust, safety and creative freedom on set. A passionate storyteller and with a background in directing and coaching, I bring precise, embodied understanding of physical storytelling and the actor’s craft to my every project.
