I am very keen to send you my expression of interest. I am an experienced runner and PA, most recently working on a 30-episode cookery show for Amazon. I am a career changer, having gained many transferable skills working in venue and front of house management. When the pandemic hit, I retrained with the NHS as a Health Care Assistant, working on busy wards. I have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. I was often the senior member of staff on duty venues and managed a wide range of admin from HR to venue accounts. I am studying for AAT Accountancy Level 2 to consolidate this experience. Skilled in very fast-moving public facing roles, at venues such as the O2 Arena, London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.I am used to responding quickly to enquiries and working to deadlines. Excellent at multitasking and prioritising. Also, as these roles were public facing, I have developed in-depth communication skills. I am early in my TV career and keen to learn and I have a background of working successfully with a wide range of colleagues from varying backgrounds with eclectic personal histories.I was fortunate to be a participant on the inaugural year of the NFTS / Amazon Craft Academy in 2022. This was a yearlong paid programme funded by Amazon to get underrepresented backgrounds into the industry. (I come from a Gypsy family). It was a mix of classroom-based sessions from leaders in the industry and onset paid placements. I graduated with a great deal of practical knowledge and an NFTS Certificate in Film and TV Production. I am very aware of set etiquette and crew structures. I have undertaken ALBERT training in the UK and further training in sustainability in the industry. I have an MA in Producing and I have excellent research skills.
