I have undertaken many roles in freelance, creating videos with sports-based themes such as running, weightlifting, and a mix between the two, with the idea for clients to post onto social media and advertise themselves. I have also worked in photographing properties for a real estate firm based in East Anglia. All projects I see through from pre-production, into production, and right through into editing where I have built my skills in using software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. These roles have also enabled me to improve my drone operation, with which I hold a yearly-renewed licence. I have worked on independent and university film sets, with tasks including short film, music video, adverts, and fashion films. Working as cinematographer to deliver a visual style that is representative of the story’s narrative beats and link to wider societal and ethical contexts, whilst ensuring my practice is sustainable. On these interior, exterior, and studio sets I have used a vast range of expert equipment such as lighting, camera grips, and dollies, whilst becoming knowledgable in using premier cameras such as the Arri Alexa mini LF.
Cinematographer with a focus on relating storytelling and deeper themes to experimental visual storytelling. My work blends intimate character moments with emotive visuals to engage viewers and to represent my creative outlook on the world. I specialise in camera operation, lighting, drone operation, and editing, ensuring my work remains consistent throughout a process. I aim to develop a unique visual style and collaborate with innovative filmmakers on projects that address modern issues like climate change and societal disparities.
