Description

I’m an award-winning Director of Photography based in London and Essex, with experience across feature films, short form, branded content, and commercials. I bring a cinematic, story-driven approach to every project and work closely with directors to craft strong, intentional visuals that serve both narrative and tone.

My work has screened at international festivals and earned multiple awards, including:
• Changing Tune – Outstanding Achievement, Swedish Academy of Motion Pictures (2025)
• The Truth Seekers – Best Short Film, South Coast Film Festival (2024)
• Final Stare – Best Action Short, Los Angeles Film Festival (2020)

I’m currently attached as DOP on two upcoming features: The Axe and Haroon Alone, both directed by Shona Charlton. I’ve also worked as 2nd Unit DOP on Bad Influencer (2023), Escape from Biafra (2018), and The Coven (2015).

My strengths lie in visual storytelling, lighting for emotion and performance, and operating in fast-paced environments while maintaining a collaborative and composed presence on set. I have extensive experience as both a DOP and camera operator, including Steadicam and remote head work.

Available for work across the UK and internationally. My kit includes a Netflix-approved Panasonic EVA1, and I’m fully insured.

Special Interests

I’m particularly interested in working with directors who have a strong visual language and a bold approach to storytelling — whether in narrative, branded content, or hybrid formats. I enjoy collaborating early in the creative process, helping to develop visual strategies that support theme, emotion, and performance.

A key area of interest is low-budget filmmaking that doesn’t compromise on ambition. I enjoy finding elegant solutions under pressure and working with limited resources to create visually rich, story-first work.

I also have a strong interest in genre storytelling — especially psychological drama, horror, and science fiction — where visual tone is central to audience immersion. I’m drawn to projects that use framing, lensing, light, and movement not just for coverage, but as a vital part of the narrative voice.

Outside of narrative, I enjoy working on stylised branded content and commercials with a cinematic edge. I’m especially interested in working with emerging talent and supporting directors with strong personal visions, whether they’re experienced or at the start of their journey.

Technically, I have a deep interest in both traditional cinematography and new workflows including virtual production, LED volumes, and motion tracking. I’m also a Steadicam and remote head operator, and have a particular interest in the rhythm and movement of the camera in relation to performance.

Finally, I have a passion for analogue formats — particularly 16mm and 35mm film — and love projects that embrace the aesthetic and discipline of shooting on celluloid, where appropriate. I am involved in the R&D of the Logmar Magellan 65mm film camera, the first new film camera in 20 years and actively advocate for the camera.
