Description
I am an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Grip Trainee with hands-on experience in various grip equipment and techniques. Most recently, I worked on the BBC Drama Silent Witness (2025), where I assisted with camera rigging, stabilisers, and supporting smooth camera movements. My experience includes working with various grip tools such as sliders (3ft, 4ft, 6ft), tripods (sticks, baby legs, tall sticks), cine saddles, tri-hats, rickshaws, and decks, as well as providing support for camera setups in challenging environments. I am adept at collaborating with camera departments to ensure seamless execution of shots and rigging.
I have a strong understanding of camera systems, having worked with models such as Canon, Blackmagic, ARRI Alexa, Sony Mirrorless & Cine, and Fujifilm. My technical knowledge, combined with my practical grip experience, allows me to contribute effectively to any set and ensure that all gear is set up for optimal performance.
Additionally, I have experience as an Assistant Camera on various short films and documentaries, where I supported the camera department with focusing, camera setup, and maintaining smooth operation for dynamic shots. I’ve also worked as a Camera Operator and location marshall on various productions, honing my ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage logistics, and adapt to any role on set.
With a keen eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for hands-on filmmaking, I am eager to further develop my skills within the grip department. I am always keen to learn and grow professionally, seeking opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects.
Special Interests
I have a deep passion for photography, filmmaking and cinematography, particularly when it comes to hands-on work with camera equipment and supporting smooth production setups. Outside of film, I am an avid gamer, which has helped me develop problem-solving skills and an eye for detail, both of which are invaluable on set. I also have a keen interest in wildlife photography. I enjoy staying active, which complements my enthusiasm for working physically demanding roles on set, and I continuously seek out new opportunities to learn and develop my skills in the film industry.
