I am passionate about Media Production and hold a BSc (Hons) in Film and Television Production Technology and an MA in Film and Screen. With a strong passion for video editing across short films, music videos, and television, I have developed expertise in industry-standard editing software, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. My technical proficiency extends to photographic manipulation, graphic design, and promotional content creation.
During my time in education I gained experience as Director of Photography for Brave New Beast (formerly Lumina Studios), overseeing a complex 32-hour shoot for a short film. I refined my skills in video editing, cinematography, and visual storytelling. My knowledge spans across various aspects of film and TV production, including script development, lighting, and post-production.
In addition to my media background, I have over eight years of professional experience within the NHS in patient-facing and administrative roles. Currently, as a Directorate Administration Officer, I manage staff records, coordinate training, and handle confidential documentation, demonstrating my strong organizational and multitasking abilities. My previous role as an Orthotic Clerk enhanced my communication skills, as I liaised between medical professionals and patients, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
I am eager to apply my creative and technical expertise in a dynamic media production environment. With a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality content creation, I am seeking entry level opportunities to kickstart my career. I thrive in collaborative settings, adapt quickly to fast-paced environments, and am driven by my passion for storytelling and visual media.
Special Interests
I’m a huge fan of crime dramas like The Sopranos and The Godfather, admiring their masterful storytelling, cinematography, and complex character development. Gaming is another major influence—whether it’s the cinematic world-building of Fallout, the adrenaline rush of F1 racing games.
Theatre also plays a big role in my creative inspiration. I love how stage design, lighting, and live performance translate into film production, and some of my favorite productions include The Lion King, Six, and Hairspray.
