Over the last five years my main roles have been Prop Master or Stores.Starting as a daily dresser, I soon found I had more to offer the industry with my life skills and soon moved on as Prop Master. As a Prop Master, I bring the organisation of the props and the team to meet the needs of the production and the job at hand. Sets dressed on time with the right number of dressers to be signed off by the set dec or designer. Hired props to be recorded as they arrive and returned with the minimal amount of loss and damage. Purchases recorded ready for end of job storage or sale. Organising the correct crew and transport required for the job.In my previous careers I have worked in technical roles and logistics. All bringing a methodical and structured approach to what I do. My technical roles taught me practical skills, fault finding, technology skills and the ability to talk to anyone from the layperson to top management. My logistic roles have given me the ability to track, record and have the right product in the right place at the right time and managing any complications before they happen.I've taken on some tough jobs in my time and come out on top.
