My name is Edward Ackroyd and I am due to graduate from the University of Central Lancashire on the 11th July 2022 with a degree in film production. I have lots of experience working on projects within the university focusing primarily on editing and post production work including light VFX. I also have lots of experience working as a sound recordist/ boom operator on set, and I have experience with sound design in post production. I also wrote, directed and produced my own short film in the third year of university . As well as my university experience, I have lots of experience working as a freelance filmmaker. I have created videos for a range of different clients including promotional videos, instructional videos, and music videos. Furthermore, I am currently working with the company Pixel-Eyed Pictures to create a variety of short commercial films. I am a creative and passionate filmmaker, I am really keen to find work in the industry. I am eager to showcase my skills whilst learning and progressing with a view to hopefully finding a position in editing where my skills are my best.
