Ivan Wood is an award winning A camera operator and Steadicam Operator. Having started in the film and television industry in 2004 at the Brighton Film School he then went on to be taught by DOP Christopher Hughes; The Garden, This is England. Having started assisting Chris, he quickly moved into camera operating for music videos and documentaries with his first break shooting the UK part of the documentary Side by Side with Keanu Reeves in 2011.Since then he has shot commercials for the likes of Nivea, Microsoft, BMW and Kleenex working predominately in Commercial and music content. Ivan loves looking for new ways to improve his operating. He has used a gimbal for the last 8 years and has recently (2018) moved into Steadicam. He owns a state of the art Tiffen Steadicam with stabilised top stage (Volt).
