Description

Hello im Georgia Bulkeley and I have an array of skills that would be useful in the film industry.

My main skill is my creativity which makes me a very useful person to have for script editing and storyboarding shots together. Im good at drawing clear storyboards and have had previous experiance in being director of photography on a short film that I co-wrote. This meant I took responsibility for the creative influence in both the script and how it would be shot. I took photography and English Lit Alevels which challenged me constantly to think creatively when analysing an image or a piece of work. I feel these qualifications have built my confidence to be able to help other with expanding their ideas and work while also striving to create my own.

Ive also had many experiences in lighting a scene and enjoy connecting the relationship between lighting and filming to reflect the emotions of a character or the general atmosphere.

I love to do photography outside of my course at UWE and have always loved running a shoot where I design a set, create an outfit, and do the models makeup. A lot of my photgraphy and film projects are on my instagram @saintvi11ain that is linked on the side of this page. I have experiance with editing and colour grading from having done a wide range pf photoshoots.

Special Interests

I am a skilled makeup and sfx artist as I have been doing mine and others makeup for many years. Recently I have been practicing how to do sfx and have been creating things such as deep cuts, bruising, healed scars and burns. I feel this skill is a great one to build on the side of my filmmaking course as it means I can be helpful on a project in many different ways. Im aways up for a challenge and can't wait to do more with sfx when Im brought the task.

I also have done a past project which was a clay stopmotion. I have built my skills on how to create a clean stopmotion; along with making clay characters and building a mini set of a bathroom. For building the set we thought of many different creative ways to bring it to life, for example, smashing china plates to make a mismatched mosiac tiled floor for the bathroom. I feel this reflects very well what kind of imagination I could bring to the art department with props and set building.

I also have done a handful of acting in the past and took drama for Alevel. So I am comfortable infront of the screen if there was more extras needed for a certain scene.
