After more than three fulfilling years working in digital advertising, in 2024 I transitioned my career to work in the Locations department for film production.
I began this process by completing the Film & TV Location Assistant Intensive Training Course with Liverpool Locations. This included training on location department responsibilities, set etiquette, scouting, and practical equipment tutorials, followed by work experience on Hollyoaks.
My passion for locations began with the Certificate in Filmmaking at NFTS in 2021. Previously, I worked extensively in amateur theatre, managing over thirty shows in various roles, including producer and stage manager.
Since 2021, I have worked in digital advertising, running campaigns for BT, EE, Shell and Coca-Cola. This experience developed my skills in communication, team management, and financial literacy - key for a Location Management. I am adept at managing high-pressure environments with tight deadlines, always aiming to create an organized and supportive team atmosphere that seeks to push the envelope of what's possible.
Most recently, I completed the Location Manager Skills Bootcamp with All Spring Media, where I received expert training from Location and Unit Managers, a Producer, a Sustainability Consultant, and a Psychology Coach. Through this comprehensive program I acquired specialized skills and knowledge in location scouting, safety protocols, sustainability practices, mental health awareness, and managing heritage and complex locations.
