Nikki Crowley is a Bristol-based Sound Designer and Composer known for creating distinctive audio landscapes that vividly support storytelling. Operating from her studio in Bristol and on-location worldwide, Nikki blends traditional and modern techniques, mixing organic and electronic sounds to craft vibrant music and immersive soundscapes for both real and imagined worlds.
Her diverse portfolio spans film, theatre, TV, and radio, with work featured on BBC and Channel 4. Nikki has contributed post-production sound and music to animations and films available in UK cinemas and on streaming platforms like Amazon. Her theatre projects include acclaimed shows at Bristol Old Vic, Tobacco Factory, and Exeter Northcott, earning critical praise and award nominations.
Nikki is passionate about exploring how sound can deepen or transform audience perception of narratives and characters. She focuses on projects that challenge and address significant topics or support the underrepresented; using sound as a tool to drive impact and change.
In addition to her sound design and composition roles, Nikki tours internationally as an electronic music artist and DJ. She is also dedicated to mentoring young people and emerging talent in the music and sound industry.
