Sonia Wargacka is a production coordinator, producer and a freelance filmmaker based in Bristol, UK. Her most recent work includes Wolf Hall (2024), Sex Education (2023), His Dark Materials (2022) and Becoming Elizabeth (2021).Sonia has recently completed a "Step up to Production Manager" Screenskills training, and she can get funding for shadowing productions in a PM capacity. Sonia is also founder of a social impact video production company. She has produced, directed and edited videos for organizations specializing in social impact on 4 continents.Sonia grew up in Poland, India, US and the UK. Her film career started in London where she worked in a team with BAFTA-winning producer and director Leslee Udwin ( India's Daughter (2015) , East Is East (1999) ). Sonia then studied at Screenology Film School in Bristol, where she got hired as an Assistant Producer.
