I am a graduate with a degree in film and creative writing with some experience and knowledge of using Canon C100 cameras, Davinci Resolve editing software and AVID Media Composer.I have experience in working in short films and features and have worked and assisted several departments. I have experience working as a runner for Production and Assistant Director teams as well as assisting with the Locations department. I have skills in working with and transporting talent to and from location.I also have experience in the Art Department as a set dresser, gaining skills in decorating locations, striking sets and sourcing props and set dressings for productions. I have written and directed my own short films but I am looking to gain more experience as a runner with aspirations to work in the AD department.
I have an interest in gaining experience within the AD department, to work as a floor runner. I want to gain experience in working across departments and with a variety of different people. I also have an interest in working more within the Art Department. I found working as an art department assistant very rewarding; watching the set come together and getting to see the work through the camera.I also have an interest in photography. I have been teaching myself how to take and edit photos. I would love any opportunity to learn how to improve my skills in this hobby and be able to translate that into working in film and tv.
