Description

I am a scriptwriter, script editor, and creative consultant with a passion for crafting compelling, character-driven narratives that resonate across screen, stage, and emerging media. My background includes a Master’s in Professional Writing from Falmouth University, I've honed my storytelling skills with training from John Yorke. Selected for the TV foundation's The Network 2025. I’ve worked with emerging and award-winning writers alike, offering script development, structural analysis, and tailored feedback to elevate their projects.

My career so far covers teaching and mentorship roles, including as a guest lecturer at Falmouth University and scriptwriting workshops for the BFI Academy. Through these roles, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to nurture creative talent while delivering impactful, industry-focused guidance. Additionally, I adjudicate for the Rose Bowl Awards and the Somerset Fellowship of Drama, further reinforcing my commitment to supporting emerging voices.

As a creative consultant, I specialise in idea development and story refinement, helping clients bring their narratives to life. My work focuses on developing cohesive story worlds, ensuring a seamless blend of creative vision and strategic execution.

I’m especially drawn to stories that explore identity, body positivity, and generational perspectives - key themes in my current comedy project. Whether working as a writer, script editor, or creative consultant, I bring a collaborative, systematic approach that ensures projects are both emotionally engaging and structurally sound.

Special Interests

I’m passionate about developing stories that challenge societal perceptions, especially around identity. I also thrive in cross-platform storytelling, helping creators adapt their narratives for various mediums while retaining their core essence.

Mentorship is central to my practice, whether through my work with the Rose Bowl Awards, the Somerset Fellowship of Drama, or my teaching roles with Falmouth University and the BFI Academy. I’m dedicated to encouraging new talent and ensuring their voices are heard in this ever-evolving industry.

I have a keen interest in the evolving role of AI within the creative industries, particularly its potential to streamline development and enhance collaborative workflows. While I remain committed to the human touch in storytelling, I’m curious about how AI can support the industry in practical ways without diminishing creativity.

These interests reflect my commitment to not only crafting strong narratives but also guiding others in navigating the future of storytelling in all its forms.
