A 25-year-old recent 2:1 BA (Hons) filmmaking graduate, ambitiously looking for entry-level jobs within the film and TV industry. I am based in Birmingham but find myself in Manchester a lot also. I have runner experience on large-scale live broadcast performances. I enjoy working on short films in a variety of roles to understand other sides of the industry. During university, I covered many roles; screenwriter, director, producer, editor, cinematographer, boom operator, sound artist, colourist, to a few. As part of my filmmaking course, I decided to partake in a two-year ‘History of Fashion’ segment. This bulked out my love of costume design, set design and research/contextualisation all in one. I would love for a chance to explore this area of the industry as I knit and crochet as a hobby. It is a dream of mine to craft my own costumes for a film. I had a two-day set experience in March 2024 through a course called Rock Up Ready. On this production, I had the role of Best Boy and helped the prop department additionally. It also granted me mocap experience. Through this course I have also obtained Mark Milsome Foundation Health and Safety Film and TV Online Passport and BAFTA Albert Sustainability certifications.I am no stranger to the outdoors as I love camping, hiking, and rock climbing/bouldering. I spend a lot of my free time taking photographs in many outdoor spaces so using equipment (and being equipped myself) is second nature. I am proficient in Cannon cameras yet have changed my personal camera to a Fujifilm X-T3.After university, I spent my time working to shift leader within the hospitality sector. I thrive in busy environments and benefit from multi-tasking and prioritising. I learnt valuable skills here such as customer and staff management, de-escalation, cash/petty cash handling, event management, teamwork, leadership, and how to make some odd yet enjoyable drinks.
Interests include knitting and crocheting, horror/thriller genre, rock climbing/bouldering, Formula 1, hiking, fashion.
