Description

I push forward, create opportunities, and navigate difficult situations, evident by the founding my student-led film production company with over 40 volunteers. Through charisma, determination, and consistent networking, I secured locations, props, and actors, ensuring a high project completion rate. I adapted to every role, from runner to 1st AD to production lead, embracing each step as a learning curve. Now, I’m eager to explore and grow in a professional setting.
Alongside this, I worked as an Esports Centre Assistant, honing my crisis management and customer service skills, specifically, managing school trips with up to 50 children. This required vigilance, crisis control, and quick problem-solving in a high-pressure environments.
My mentorship at Altitude Films and an internship at One Small Barking Dog provided me with valuable insights into the business side of film. At OSBD, budget sensitivity was crucial, while Altitude Films offered key insights into distribution and the film’s journey beyond production. All of this occurred while I was pursuing my Media and Creative Industries degree, which I graduated with a BA (hons) 2:1.
I completed the Skills Accelerator programme at Birmingham City University, funded by Create Central and the BFI. This programme earned me certifications in two crucial industry areas: Health & Safety (Mark Milsome Film & TV Safety Passport) and Sustainability (BAFTA Albert Sustainability Certificate).
Recently, I had the privilege of working as a runner at The Great British Menu. This role allowed me to showcase my adaptability and efficiency, even after only two hours of training. Additionally, my main role as a waitress provides me with the opportunity to experience a set environment while also performing runner-like duties, such as cleaning, setting up, and occasionally running drinks.
I am currently seeking roles as a runner where I can contribute meaningfully, and most importantly, learn from experienced professionals.

Special Interests

Special interest in psychological and speculative fiction, historical research, and character-driven narratives. I am passionate about developing immersive worlds and exploring complex themes in film and TV. Particularly drawn to sci-fi, fantasy, and projects with strong existential or societal themes. But as I am still new to the industry, I am open to roles that blend creative research with production coordination. I would like to explore and expand my knowledge of what this industry can provide.
