Hello, I’m Tim, a Camera Trainee and Assistant based in Manchester, also working in Liverpool, London, and Leeds.
I’m passionate about storytelling through visual media, with hands-on experience supporting camera departments on a variety of productions. Confident with both digital and film formats, I have practical experience loading 16mm film magazines, giving me a strong appreciation for the precision required when working with film.
Recent credits include camera trainee work on BBC dramas such as The Listeners, other BBC and ITV productions, and commercial/music video shoots with artists including Sam Smith, English Teacher, and Ellur, as well as a Channel 4 documentary.
I also mentor cinematography at the BFI Film Academy and teach Film & TV at PQA and in the United States.
Reliable, eager to learn, and comfortable in fast-paced environments, I bring focus and enthusiasm to every project, whether supporting equipment, ensuring smooth operations, or fostering a positive on-set atmosphere.

Special Interests
I am extremely passionate about photography both Digital & film. Owning a Lumix S52, multiple 35mm film cameras and a medium format TLR.
I love music, Learning Guitar (can't quite play Wonderwall yet) Running & Athletics, Coffee, Movies my favorites being Sicario, Lala Land and the Lord of the RIngs trilogy to name but a few. I also enjoy lie in's but only after finishing a long shoot.
I strive to learn and operate drones in the coming months and gain a license.
