I am a freelance DIT, Video and Camera trainee (the description says video assistant as there isn't an option for video trainee on the website) based in Herne Bay. During my career in the industry, I have worked on HETV and Film sets, servicing the respected departments in any way I can; such as setting up monitors for DOP, Directors and Producers; wrangling, cleaning and fixing BNC cables. I have experience troubleshooting DIT and Video monitors on-set and standing by for my heads of department on the floor, when they are stuck at their rigs. I've been working in the industry since 2023 and have worked in places all over London and South Wales. It's been amazing to explore all of these places while working and interacting with the most guiding and professional colleagues I could ask for. All of the assistant and HODs I've worked under have given me invaluable mentorship that I couldn't do my job without.
In my spare time, I am a filmmaker, photographer and currently screenwriting music videos then film with my own camera and lighting equipment. I thoroughly enjoy the craft and joined the industry because I want to make movies and have loved watching them since I was a kid. I'm also in a Riot Grrl band called "Here Kitty Kitty" which I play bass for.
