I’ve been working on and off in the New Zealand film industry for the past 4 years in Costume Props and Extras Dressing.I have a degree in Fine Arts, experience in small scale theatre and have worked both On set and Off set on large tv productions.I’m relocating to England and would love to continue expanding my skills in the film industry, especially in the Art Dept!
Experience with dressing extras on set and final checks.Experience with basic breakdown on leather items for costume props.Weathering and distressing costumes, sets and props for theatre.Set painting and sourcing props and costumes.Installing and dressing sets in theatre spaces.Basic leather work.Pattern drafting of belts, bandoliers and other items related to costume props.Dye mixing and colour matching (leather).Familiarity with industrial walking foot sewing machines.Beginner level experience in the process of set design, including developing original ideas, creating sketches and overseeing the final creation (theatre).Leadership roles and organising teams of theatre crew (Beginner level stage management).
