Crew Listing

Description

With a passion for storytelling, I’m looking to not only write, direct and produce my own stories but help others tell theirs.

As a writer/script analyst, I'm looking to apply my skills to an editorial, research or developmental role, whilst as a crew member I'm looking to apply my skills to a scripted production office role to continue to learn about the administrative side of the industry as I work towards the goal of becoming a director’s assistant.

I'm currently the manager of the West Midlands Screenwriters Forum, and through my script analysis work for their international partner - the Hollywood-based screenwriting website WriteMovies.com, I’ve continued to develop my understanding of story, structure and commercial viability as I’ve written development notes, coverage and managed the judging for their screenwriting contests. I also manage their marketing, and increasing the business through tracking sales and KPIs.

My production background includes experience in various entry-level roles across the AD and production departments in both scripted and unscripted, whilst on short films and indie productions my primary experience has been as a camera assistant/operator. I'm also a confident self-shooter and video producer.

Currently, I’m completing a CPD Production Bootcamp at Solihull College, where I’m working on two low-budget short films as Line Producer and Production Manager. I'm an alumnus of Create Central's Rock up Ready Skills Accelerator, and The TV Foundation's The Network 2022 talent scheme. Since January 2023 I've been the Film & TV teacher at PQA Wolverhampton.

I regularly write, direct and produce my own independent projects - last year my micro-short film won the 60 Second Cinema Contest, and my documentary web series “This Is My Sketchbook” won Best Online Content at the Birmingham Film Festival 2024. I am currently developing a psyhological thriller and silent short film.
