Aspiring 3rd Assistant Director, looking for work within the Film and HETV industry. I’ve currently been working within the production management department in unscripted TV for over 2 years and now looking to break into scripted. Transferable skills:As part of the production management team, my main duties have been to coordinate large show logistics within the UK, studio and abroad. This involved: Production Planning and Support - Working closely with other departments, helping with location rigs and office set ups, help to provide any access requirements or special needs to cast and crew, liaise with suppliers on equipment rental and any further extensions. Managing Cast and Crew - Greet oversee and escort cast and audience whilst on location, helping to obtain cast release forms and other paperwork, helping to manage catering for Crew, oversee Runners and PAs.Assistant management of Production Filming - Overseeing crew radio allocations and charging stations, help distribute call sheets and other production paperwork to crew members on set, putting up clear signs and notices around set, managing runners on set, ensure wrap times for meal times are followed for cast and crew, help to coordinate transport and confirm availability.Manage shooting on Productions - Communicate with all relevant departments effectively, distributing schedules and call sheets for cast and crew, making sure all crew are following health and safety regulations set out by the RAs and production, help to deal with urgent matters when they occur and collaborate with appropriate members of the production team.
