Nick Arthurs is a BAFTA awarded editor with credits including The Witcher, The Alienist, Da Vinci's Demons, A Discovery of Witches, and His Dark Materials. He is also the writer and director of “It Always Comes Back”.He has a long career working in the film and television industry, starting in a production company as a producer’s assistant, then working as a freelance camera assistant, sound recordist, and computer graphics artist until finally breaking into editing. He forged a successful career cutting commercials, pop promos, comedy, news and documentaries before finally moving full time into film and TV drama editing in 1999. He was nominated for his first BAFTA a year later in 2000, and was awarded a BAFTA in 2001 for the TV movie of Othello. He also received a third BAFTA nomination in 2006 for the TV mini-series of Casanova, which starred Peter O’Toole and David Tennant.He has worked on projects with such prestigious and amazing film-makers as David S Goyer, David Fincher and Luc Besson, actors such as Henry Cavill and Michael Keaton, and more recently he has been second unit directing on TV series such as A Discovery of Witches. He has also recently moved into film and TV development, working as a script consultant on various indie projects.
