I am currently a university student studying film production at the University of Gloucestershire however originally based in Northamptonshire East Midlands. Since starting university, I have been particularly interested in cinematography and production design learning how we can use creative visuals to evoke different emotions and alter the narrative of a story. Although I have gained lots of knowledge through working in my own shorts at university, I would be very keen to gain more experience on set and learn through interacting with professionals and getting hands on, helping wherever possible. I am a confident and enthusiastic film maker who has great time management, and good communication skills. As you can see from my CV and showreel, I have had experience on set of my own short films working with a range of camera and lighting equipment and directing my own teams, working long shifts. From this I have learnt how to work under pressure confidently and communicate well with my team in order to get the best results possible. I also own my own car and acquire a driver’s license so am able to travel for work easily.
Outside of filming I practice my own photography in my own studio in my garage and also practice it whilst travelling, capturing the beauty in all corners of the world. Travelling has taught me about numerous cultures and people all over the world and shown me multiple perspectives on life itself. I have been a dancer all my life, participating in many top competitions and succeeding in winning many titles such as British open champion and World finalist in Irish dance. I also studied ballet, contemporary, tap and modern dance throughout my years as a dancer. This taught me discipline and determination and I use these skills in both my film career and general life.
