My experiences have revealed a talent for film production management by directing a number of projects ranging from music videos to short films, in which I edited as well in some cases. This required adept communication and leadership skills in order to convey to the crew, what the writer and myself, wanted. Expansive knowledge of filmmaking techniques and production was also required for me to be able put said ideas into motion practically. I understood this early on in my education and so decided to add as many strings to my bow as possible and gain experience in camera operation, lighting, sound equipment and editing. This made it easier to accurately understand the filmmaking process from various angles and departments.Due to my burning passion and ambition to work on film projects of all kinds, I am as flexible as I possibly can be and take extra effort to be disciplined in my organisational skills as well as I am aware of their importance in a professional environment.
I come from a sporting background and so have always felt the allure of sports media/broadcasting. Similarly, any productions that fall with the reality genre will always demand my attention as the capturing of said reality is the exact type of refined rawness and purity that I find very captivating.
