Bjarni Felix is an experienced cinematographer with close to 30 years of experience in film, television and commercials. He began his career in film as a gaffer turned AC. The past decade Bjarni has focused solely on cinematography. Bjarni studied Art History at the University of Vienna in the late eighties prior to his entry into film making, where he found his passion. From 2024, Bjarni divides his time between Iceland and the UK.
Working with creative professionals and contributing to the realisation of a vision is a driving force in my life and work. My special interests in filmmaking are works of social importance that can make an impact, bring about societal change and heighten awareness. Hence, documentaries are close to my heart but good fiction has every means of ………….On a more personal level, I greatly enjoy cooking, gardening, football, music and wood work. I love spending time in my little cottage in the Icelandic countryside, developing the land and fishing in the river
