Description

Grace trained as an intimacy coordinator for film and television with IDC (New York) on their SAG-AFTRA accredited programme. Her teachers included renown ICs Jessica Steinrock, Marcus Watson and Claire Warden (who is also Grace’s current 1-1 mentor).

As an intimacy coordinator Grace is trained to work within both USA (SAG-AFTRA) and UK (BECTU) guidelines. For example, she holds the Creative Industries Safety Passport and can provide UK intimacy risk assessments.

Grace’s purpose as an intimacy coordinator is to support both the cast and crew in the complexities of portraying nudity, intimacy and sensitive material. In her intimacy choreography Grace draws upon her background in physical theatre and storytelling (devising and performance) at Bretton Hall where she gained a BA (Hons) in Dramatic Arts. She also utilises her screen acting training and her deep explorations of the human psyche.

Grace provides trauma informed intimacy practice and is a fully qualified Psychotherapist. She holds a master’s degree in Psychotherapy (MA with Distinction).

Grace also holds an MSc in Consciousness and Transpersonal Psychology where she gained a distinction for her work exploring altered states, ‘psychic’ experiences and paranormal beliefs.
