I’m a freelance designer currently looking for work as a design assistant or model-maker in TV, Film and Theatre. I’ve just graduated MA Performance Design at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where I had the opportunity to work on both costume and set for some amazing productions, including “Shook,” Directed by Patrick Wilson at The Wardrobe Theatre and Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night,” directed by Geoffrey Brumlik. I’ve got experience designing and sourcing period costumes for a cast of up to twenty actors, with quick changes and multi roles, model-making, scenic art and painting, set decoration, prop buying and sourcing, illustration, and I’m competent with AutoCAD and adobe softwares. I’m based in Bristol but I hold a valid UK driving license and I’m willing to travel for work.
I love creating naturalistic, detailed spaces and my favourite part of a production is the research process. I’m particularly interested in fantasy and sci/fi but I would like to gain more experience in period drama. I’m a miniature and scale model-maker and I’m interested in doing this as an assistant.
