I am an organised and passionate new entrant into the film & TV industry. Whilst at university, I balanced university work with getting onto as many sets as physically possible and had success, particularly in the indie London scene in the summer of 2023. Now that my time at university has ended, I am searching for more opportunities that will allow me to work on set and meet some of the amazing crews that work in the UK.My experience is diverse; I have worked as a Location Marshal for a Band 2 HETV show and spent weeks as a production runner on some independent feature films and exciting adverts. These experiences have allowed me to learn more and more about on-set procedures and allowed me to engross myself in productions. I am more than capable now of performing day-to-day runner tasks, including float management and assisting talent. I have also had some Assistant Director training, which led me to become a 2nd Assistant Director for an indie film ‘Swordplay.’ This role thrust me into the inner workings of a set where I gained valuable experience managing people.In my own filmmaking journey, which has both been nurtured through my degree at Lancaster and also grown in more personal projects, I have worked as a director, writer, cinematographer, gaffer, and editor. This has given me a broad grasp on rigging lighting kits, BlackMagic Design’s cameras, and both Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. In film and TV, I have a few areas of particular interest. One is directing; I have gathered up my friends many times to put a film together, and all those experiences have been incredibly gratifying, and ones I'll always be grateful for.In return, I have worked on several other indie projects as a gaffer and AD, and in both roles I have found particular interest. Being an AD helped me learn more and more about the production process, and whilst I am not the most technical with cameras, my knowledge and practice of lighting has led me to help out in the creation of some great shots.Outside of film, I am a long-distance runner and volleyball player.
