Tigz Rice is a photographer and videographer based in Hertfordshire UK. With 15 years of experience in the creative industries, she spent the first ten years of her career travelling around the world photographing live theatre, burlesque and cabaret. Her book STRIP/TEASE - documenting a decade of documentary work in the global burlesque community - won a bronze medal in the 2020 IPPY independent publishing awards.Tigz was listed in the Top 40 Digital Women To Watch in 2021, shortlisted for both Women's Champion and Digital Creator of the Year in 2022, and was listed in f:Entrepreneur’s top 100 female entrepreneurs of 2023.In 2024, Tigz has been exploring video as a new medium and recently launched her B-Roll video creation services.Tigz would love to explore more opportunities as a Unit Stills Photographer, Documentary/BTS Photographer and Content Creator within the TV and Film Industry
Tigz loves to travel, with a particular affinity for Japan. She has been studying Japanese language for the past 3.5 years and recently passed her N4 qualification, reading, writing and speaking at an Intermediate level. She's currently planning her next trip, where she hopes to plan another photoshoot with a geisha.Tigz is also a founding member of The Underpinnings Museum, a radical innovation in showcasing and documenting exquisite objects, dedicated to the evolution of underwear through the ages. Founded in late 2016, the museum is an ongoing project, constantly updating and expanding its collections, which currently dates as far back as the 1700s, all the way to the modern day.Tigz always has a camera in her hand, and enjoys collecting vintage cameras, from Rollei's to Polaroids.
