On-set I've managed hundreds of SA's on a large Amazon production. In pre-production on independent shoots I negotiated with private business owners, the police and local authorities for various filming concerns. Special Interests
FILM FESTIVAL SUCCESSES
My last film was a semi-finalist at Mirada Corta, and a finalist at Penistone Film Festival receiving praise from David Meanti for its striking visual style. This film also received tremendous feedback from the Venezia shorts film festival.
Independently, I write and produce short films collaboratively with other filmmakers to put onto the festival circuit. I have had films screen throughout the UK and internationally. I also collaborate with filmmakers online from overseas including the US and India, producing and supporting as an A.D. Most recently I have recently produced a documentary about Jazz Café culture on-site in Tokyo.
SPORTS
I enjoy keeping fit by going to the gym, climbing and hill walking. I have walked Ben Nevis, Snowdon and the Yorkshire three peaks.
LANGUAGES
I have passed grade N4 (intermediate) Japanese speaking which was useful on a recent shoot in Tokyo.
TRAVEL
I have travelled all over Europe, USA and most recently Japan. I meticulously plan a journey to ensure I see all the sights and experience the culture of these countries. This demonstrates my independence, problem solving ability, intuition, and intiative.
CINEMA
University ran a ‘Secret Cinema Club’ which aimed to broaden our experience and knowledge of film. I enjoy a wide range of films.
