As a queer creative, I’m enthusiastic about encouraging diversity and inclusivity behind the camera, and about increasing authentic representation of underrepresented communities in HETV and Film, as I believe everyone deserves to see themselves represented on screen.Alongside studying at Screen and Film School in Manchester, I implemented my strong planning, organisational and communication skills to produce micro-budget music videos for emerging bands such as BLOXX and Bayboards. I've also gained invaluable runner experience on poignant short films such as Rope Ladder Fiction’s ‘Surprise, Baby!’ and PiliMili’s ‘Lia IRL’, the latter of which recently screened at Manchester Film Festival.During Summer 2023, I had the joy of working as an Outreach Assistant for Waterloo Road Summers Connect workshops with Joseph Morris, John Offord (BBC Young Reporter) and the Waterloo Road Editorial Team, to inspire storytelling across youth groups in Greater Manchester. We've recently completed our LGBTQ+ comedy drama graduation film that I produced called ‘Cabbage’, which explores themes of family, identity and being proud of who you are.
