I am a former Lens-Based Media student, looking for my start in the film industry. I am a polite, detail-focused and punctual individual capable of following instructions and procedures. I've participated in the production of multiple student films, which has helped me to become accustomed to facing unexpected challenges; this has taught me to work while under pressure. A mixture of independent practice and group projects have allowed me to become flexible; I could be a willing, active, and dependable participant in a group. I always bring great effort and attitude to my work, with a willingness to learn new things and improve upon what I already know.
During my education, I found that editing was one of my favourite aspects of making a film. Since finishing my course, I have continued to practice editing, cutting together videos from family holidays and clips from video game recordings.I also have a particular interest in film restoration and preservation. As a big film enthusiast, I am fascinated by the fact that there a hundreds of films and television programmes that have been or are at risk of being lost to time. I believe that preservation is an important line of work, and one that I would like to work in.
