Description

I have always had an affinity for nature, fishing with my grandad and brother catalysed my interest in aquatic life from a young age, pulling small roaches from the water and watching kingfishers flash by. To this day I still try to spend as much time as I can outside, whether it's through the previously mentioned fishing, going for walks or photographing wildlife. I moved to Falmouth to pursue my passion further in my adult life. I now hold a degree in Marine and Natural History Photography, which has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of both marine and terrestrial environments as well as the delicate interplay between nature and humanity. My coursework mainly focused on representing conservation issues through various forms of media, imparting to me the significance of impactful communication in raising awareness for environmental causes.

My proficiency in Adobe software, Microsoft Word, and Excel has been pivotal in creating visually compelling content or efficiently handling data, both in my study life and the world of work. I am also confident in other facets of both software and hardware in computers and would very quickly adapt to any new programs or applications. I enjoy writing and have previously completed several large essays as part of my qualification at university, one of which being a dissertation, focusing on the intricacies of reintroducing Burbot, the only freshwater species of Gadiforme currently extinct in the United Kingdom. Being a photographer, I have a keen eye for detail and noticing errors, perfecting the work I create before publishing.
