Young creative, trying to get into the industry. I completed a BFI short course in 2020, achieving the Silver Arts Award, and one of the films I was involved in went on to be included in the Quarantine International film festival in Calgary, Canada. Three years after this, I reunited with one of the other attendees whom I had kept in contact with to be a runner on a project she was heading in Chelmsford. Due to crew cancellations, I ended up taking on the roles of Grip, Gaffer and Camera Trainee which was an experience I will never forget. I have also worked as an extra in the music video for Warzone - M Huncho, which gave me experience dealing with pyrotechnics, and took a week-long Cinematography course at London Film Academy to improve my technical understanding of the camera. After these experiences, I am confident my aspirations lie in the camera department, but I would enjoy building my skillset in other areas of production too, to become a more well-rounded filmmaker, and understand the tasks required of my fellow crew members better.
