A contemporary and versatile composer, multi-instrumentalist and music producer with a specific proficiency in Synthesis, Sequencing and Electronic Music Production Techniques, who specialises in creating atmospheric textures and minimal, melancholic compositions, from tense and haunting to optimistic and beautiful.Prior to his media composition career, Owain's electronic outfit NO CEREMONY/// twice became the most blogged-about artist in the world (via 2010's music aggregator website The Hype Machine), were lauded by industry staples Mary Anne Hobbs, Zane Lowe and Huw Stephens, toured worldwide supporting Foals, Pixies and Crystal Fighters and won LA Times' Best Newcomer award at SXSW 2012. He has subsequently composed the original score for award-winning Cuban psychological horror feature '¿Eres Tú, Papá?' ('Is That You?') and has since worked on various films funded by BAFTA, BFI, Arts Council, Sky Arts and BBC New Creatives.
