Over the last 32 years I worked as a SET-DESIGNER in theatre. I designed sets and costumes, sourced & made props as well as painted scenery and dressed the stages.Broadly this means I've done: sketching, drafting, painting, knitting, crochet, sewing, model building, masks & Prop making, puppets, projections, stop-frame animations, graphics or what ever else is required - and a lot of sourcing. And of course it means communicating with the director, set-builders and assistants. I am not an expert of one thing, but I have a good eye, I am good with my hands and I do enjoy the variety of ‘making’. I also love the challenge of finding solutions to how something could be made - And I enjoy a collaborative process. I’ve been on film &TV sets and know that with my skill set I could work in many areas, including Costume, Scenic Painter, Set-decker- dresser, or sourcing props etc I enjoy how in the film & TV industry all the different elements come together to fulfil the one vision. And I love working in teams.I am also very good at following someone else's directions and am eager to learn new tricks from 'masters'
