I am a Wildlife and Documentary Cameraman creating content for major broadcasters including BBC, National Geographic, Netflix, Discovery Channel and more. I specialise in long lens, drone and underwater cinematography with over a decade of industry experience. My career began in Egypt where I worked for 4 years as a Diving Instructor and Underwater Cameraman. This life led me all over the world as I sought out the best places to film underwater. I went on to live in the Philippines and Palau before returning to the UK to pursue a career in natural history cinematography. For 10 years I worked exclusively for Off The Fence Productions in Bristol where I became their in house cameraman, drone pilot and underwater specialist whilst also working as the Head of Operations. During this time I filmed for a variety of major broadcasters on both television and feature film productions, often in hostile and extreme environments.I joined the BBC Natural History Unit in 2022 where I worked as a Junior Camera Operator on Planet Earth 3. This gave me an insight into Blue Chip Wildlife Cinematography which is where I am now focusing my career. I am familiar with a range of specialist cameras and equipment including gimbals, drones, cranes and a variety of different underwater housings. My diving credentials include an HSE Commercial Scuba (Part 4) qualification, more than 4000 dives worldwide (open circuit), technical diving experience up to Advanced Trimix level and I am also rebreather qualified.I am currently based in Bristol, UK where I work as a freelance cameraman. I am comfortable working in any role suitable to the production based on my skills and experience including Cinematographer, 2nd Camera, Camera Assistant, Drone Pilot, Data Wrangler, Underwater Cameraman and Safety Diver.
