Pj recently completed a role as senior VFX editor on 'Masters of the Air', the hugely successful Apple TV production from the makers of 'Band of Brothers' and 'The Pacific'.With over 30 years of experience within the film industry, Pj came through the ranks of the editorial department, working on productions such as 'American Beauty' and 'Casino Royale', as an assistant editor, before transitioning to becoming a VFX editor. Along the way Pj has edited a number of independent feature films, and made his own award winning short films. He is now developing his first feature film as a director.References:“Pj worked for me on the feature film American Beauty, which I directed in 1999. In his capacity as Avid assistant, he helped me during a difficult transitional period between editors, and in that showed himself to be a gifted editor in his own right. His skill in Avid is very great indeed; he thinks fast, his artistic judgment is extremely fine and he is a positive presence in the cutting room. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend him as your editor, as he is a worthy candidate.” SAM MENDES, DIRECTOR “AMERICAN BEAUTY”"We needed an editor who had the intellect, organizational skills, and expertise to capably handle the daily workflow of managing 12,000 hours of plates, 50 hours of previz, and 10 hours worth of VFX shots. There just are not many editors with the patience, professionalism, and mental fortitude to work effectively within our monstrous production environment, and we were incredibly fortunate to have PJ as such a productive, stable and reassuring force throughout Production and Post."
