I am eager to develop on my skills in Television and further develop a successful career in the industry. With a friendly and professional manner, whether that is in person or on the phone, I can multi-task whilst working on a high number of tasks. Currently I am a freelance writer for Ready Steady Cut whilst I maintain a career as an Academic Writer. Alongside these two roles, I have completed several courses to improve my skills as a writer. My past roles as an Administrative Assistant and a TEFL Teacher whilst living abroad have allowed me to provide excellent attention to detail whilst quickly learning any details that may be new to me. Having studied a MA Degree in Writing for Performance and Publication, I showcase fantastic written and organisational skills from my experience of working independently or as part of a team. In 2020 I had to use my positive and proactive initiative to plan, organise and attend meetings and lessons from home whilst ensuring they met the needs of others whilst working from home. My most recent role as a Script Reader has allowed me to read scripts for competitions held in Manchester, LA, Amsterdam and Sydney. For each competition, I would read 25 scripts within one month. During this time, I would choose the scripts that I would recommend, based on the relevant criteria, before selecting one final script for the top pick.
