I am a lifelong film enthusiast looking for Production Assistant work with the aim of working up to an Assistant Director role.I've already had several on set roles and love being part of a film crew, executing the plan, dealing with the unexpected, and doing whatever I can to help the shoot run as smoothly as possible.Coming from a Production Management and Project Management background, I understand the need to be approachable, agile, and adaptable.
My main interest is turning a vision into practical reality. I have many years of work as a Production & Project Manager in the shop display industry being given a visual of a display, a timeline, a budget, and then breaking that down into a project to make the display a reality. This is the skill I'd like to transfer over to an Assistant Director role, breaking down the requirements of a script and planning to turn it into a reality.
