For the past few years I have been freelancing at a number of soaps and other studio based shows as Camera Assistant and have enjoyed progressing within my department; however I'm now seeking something a little more challenging. Working on these shows has not only given me great experience working with multi-camera setups, coordinating rigs/derigs and an extensive knowledge of technical equipment but also taught me the importance of communication skills when working with other departments. Working consistently on a soap and entertainment television for a number of years has also allowed me to discover my strongest skills and work on improving any areas that I feel could be refined. Hopefully working on something a little more demanding would allow me to be pushed out of my comfort zone and enable me to take on new challenges. Its an ambition of mine to be a part of a fast-paced team on a drama. This is something Ive been aspiring to and would love to be given the opportunity.
