Chris Mitchell is a classically trained composer with numerous concert hall, stage and screen credits, and experienced sound engineer. "Mountain" (composer) was awarded Best Documentary at London Independent Film Festival 2023. "Ruckus" (composer) achieved a BFI Future Film Award and a BAFTA nomination (long list), and he has received a MOBO as orchestrator/arranger. Stage commissions include "Who Killed Alfred Oliver" (Rabble Theatre/BBC Radio); "Our Country's Good" (Leighton Park School and Epsom College). Current film/TV projects include "The Boy In The Shed" with up-and-coming British director, Ben Wicks (Shoreditch Pictures) and a new musical. He runs his own production facility in Reading, Clear Sky Studio, where he oversees a diverse range of sound design and production projects. He is Creative Director of "Music for Healing"and "Reading Global Festival as well as Associate with Resource Productions where he has taught sound design and helped withthe launch of "Screen Berkshire" at Shinfield Studios in 2023.
