My name is Joshua Fitzmaurice, and I'm a recent graduate from the University of Warwick's Film and TV department. Like many of us, I've grown up loving films and TV, and I'm at my best when I'm working on a project or behind a camera. My biggest interest is cinematography, which is my main goal that I'm working towards, but I also enjoy writing. I've worked on a number of student And professional shoots alike, in these roles: DoP, Camera operator, gaffer, 1st and 2nd AC. I bring the same high energy levels to all the productions I work on, prioritising efficiently and quality, and enjoy the challenges of finding the right balance between the two.In terms of kit, I have my own A7IV since I am also an avid photographer. I have my own 24mm f2.8, 35mm f1.8, and 50mm f1.8 Sony E mount lenses, with a DJI Ronin SC gimbal. I have also used bigger cameras, such as the Canon c200 and c300, the Blackmagic Pocket 4k and the Ursa, as well as the Sony FX3 (which I still have access to) and the Sony FX6.I believe my biggest skills are my ability to adapt, since I am a quick learner, as well as my ability to be proactive. I won't just stand or sit around on set, and will always do everything I can to ensure the shot looks the best it possibly can, when working with others toward a vision.
